How to revalidate your Amateur Radio licence

posted 21 Nov 2016, 15:08 by Mike Brown
Amateur radio licences need to be revalidated at least every 5 years (which simply means checking your details are still correct). Since Ofcom revamped their licence management portal there is no longer any way of finding out when you last validated your licence nor, apparently, any way to revalidate. In fact Ofcom say the action of logging onto the portal & looking at your details is taken as revalidation. So simple you'd have thought they'd have said so on the website.

Anyone who paid the fee and submitted a paper application form will presumably be able to call Ofcom up and get them to revalidate their licence for them.
