Ofcom report into VDSL (non)interference

posted 7 Jun 2017, 08:52 by Mike Brown
Ofcom have released a report into their investigations into several reports of VDSL interference. It seems they found that any issues were due to iffy receivers (eg USB dongles) and antennas placed very close to phone lines rather than the VDSL service itself.

No doubt some will just think the report is a whitewash but in fact it is quite likely the investigators were amateurs themselves and would know what was and wasn't a genuine problem.

The report can be found here. NB It is full of scissor icons - this isn't an error, it is where personal information has been removed.
